Payment and availability

Yes. We offer significant value to our members at no charge, with a comprehensive 360° health analysis, centralization of medical records, health action plan and score for up to 6 months. Our goal is to make health management secure, easy, and convinent while giving you control. We provide continuous monitoring, reminders and updates, so you can focus on staying healthy.

In addition to our free offering (a comprehensive 360-degree health analysis, health action plan and score, and continuous monitoring, reminders and updates), you can access our health management tool to help you:

  • Free recommended blood test (lipid, glucose, TSH)
  • Find a healthcare provider
  • Receive a doctor referral

A DNA test kit is optional and has one-time fee.

The full free product can be shipped to most states within the U.S.. However, in certain states, due to local state health care regulations, we are unable to offer any paid functionality.

Additionally, we are unable to ship DNA kits outside of the U.S., or to PO/APO addresses.

Currently, we are unable to offer our solution outside of the US. You may sign-up here and we will inform you when we are ready to offer our service in your area.

No. At this time, we accept all major credit cards and Paypal.

Yes. Once you cancel your subscription, we will not charge you for the next renewal. Also, you will be able to access Healthdom platform through end of your paid term. We do not currently support functionality that allows you to offer pro rata refunds. The one-time registration fee is not refundable. We are unable to accept returned kits -please simply discard all the testing materials (most packaging components can be recycled).

You can cancel your subscription by going to ‘Settings’ within our app or website.

Health action plan and score

It is a personalized plan designed to assist you in staying healthy by performing the right health actions at the right time. It is designed to help promote early diagnosis and treatment of disease.

For a typical user, profile set-up takes around five minutes. You have the option to save your profile and come back later to finish it if you so desire.

Several factors help determine your health action plan. These include your lifestyle, genetics, demographics, medical history, and family history. Your health action plan is created based on current medical evidence and recommendations established by physicians.

Yes. Personalization is central to the Healthdom platform. We consider most all factors that influence your health. The input you provide during your profile set-up flows into our proprietary algorithm designed to create a personalized health action plan for you.

For a typical user, profile set-up takes around five minutes. You have the option to save your profile and come back later to finish it if you so desire.

Healthdom is designed to supplement and work in parallel with the care provided by your physician. Healthdom provides a comprehensive 360-degree analysis of your health. Easy accessibility and automated services take away much of the hassle related to organizing routine doctor referrals and lab orders. When you are with your physician, you can focus on what’s most important to you.

Yes, we encourage you to share it with your primary care doctor!

Your plan is updated each time you sign into Healthdom.

There are many factors which determine your prevention score, including timely completion of medical tests, exams, and appointments. Improving your lifestyle behaviors, such as exercise, nutrition, and sleep, will also increase your score.

Your medical information is automatically updated whenyou schedule your screenings through the Healthdom platform. You may also connect your electronic health records to integrate them with Healthdom. In addition, if you chose, we will gather data passively from your Fitbit or Apple devices.

You can email us any time at info@healthdom.com with a request or ideas for new integrations and features.

Yes, you can always use your original login to access your data. You will be unable to use the features related to the standard and premium plans, though.

Yes, you can. Email us at info@healthdom.com and we will delete all your medical data and close your account within 48 hours of your request. Once we close your account and delete your data, you will not be able to access your health information.

For your protection, your records are securely stored in Healthdom’s data center only. Your records will not be stored on any external device itself. Data is encrypted using your credentials and system keys. We have multiple layers of security. Additionally, we store your identifiable information separately from the test results, making it harder to connect health information to you. You can access your Healthdom account anywhere, anytime with your login credentials.

Book a test

Yes, you can. However, for Healthdom to do continuous monitoring of your health, you should let us know whether you did this test. You can do so by pressing the ‘mark as done’ button on the prevention plan checklist and providing the date on which the test was performed. You can also connect Healthdom to your provider’s medical record system (part of the standard plan).

Most preventive tests recommended by Healthdom are fully covered by your insurance provider. Only a few tests are typically not covered (e.g. TSH blood test, genetic test).

We have it covered for you! Your prevention plan comes with pre-authorization, thus streamlining and expediting the process.

If you book a test through Healthdom, we will automatically import your results for you to review at your convenience.

Additionally, we store your identifiable information separately from the test results, making it harder to connect health information to you. You can access your Healthdom account anywhere, anytime with your login credentials.

Yes. Your health information is uniquely private to you and we respect and work hard to keep it secure for you. Healthdom will not sell, rent, license, or trade your individual-level information with third parties without your explicit consent. We may include your anonymous data in disclosures to third parties for the purpose of research or other applications, but no identifying information will be shared without your prior knowledge and consent. Healthdom research is intended to advance prevention and save lives. Our research partners may include commercial or non-profit organizations that conduct or support medical research or conduct or support the development of drugs or devices to diagnosis, predict, or treat health conditions.
No, our policy prohibits sharing of your individual DNA data with government agencies.
We are HIPAA compliant and do not share your individual-level information with any third party without your explicit consent. Additionally, we support the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) and other similar laws that protect individuals from being discriminated against based on their genetics and will not provide your information or results to employers or health insurance companies. Yes, you can email us at info@healthdom.com and within 48 hours of your request, we will delete all your medical data and close your account. Once we close your account, you will not be able to access your health information.

DNA

With 3-5 days after your order is placed.

You will receive a notification from Healthdom. You can access your results through Healthdom app or web platform. We care about our members and do offer a phone call service incase our medical experts have concerns about your results.

Yes, you can upload your 23&Me report. However, please note that most broadly available DNA products (including 23andme) focus on very few health-related genes (if any) and do not provide information that meets high medical standards of reliability. We currently analyze 59 genes identified by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) as carrying important health-related information, compared to only 10 at 23andme.
